Voeux Road, is now 4'2" high the steel framing in
connection with this gable cannot be worked to and will
require further amendment
to you on the 1st instant.

The gable at S.E. angle, Peddars Street, has
been delayed through work generally in connection with roof stopped at your written request.
Of the remaining two gubles, one at N.E. angle, Peddars Street, has been delayed owing to additional plates being necessary to the 15"x14" girder; the other gable (central one, Connaught Road) is 2′9′′ high, but these two gables will be ready to receive the steel framing long before the framing of main roof is ready to be connected.
It should be noted that the stonework in connection with all gables is ready for fixing and has been so for months past.
Additional notes. The walls to S.E. corner Tower are built level with the top of keystone of arches except to wall where Truss "C" is fixed, the work generally at this angle being kept back at your request and the detail to enable the work to be set out was only received on the 14th October last.
The walls to N.E.Corner Tower are the same height as S.E. Corner Tower, i.e. level with the top of keystone of arch except to wall where Truss *B* is fixed and also wall carried on the 15"x14" girder and they could go no higher.
